Teresa career includes working in fast-paced creative environments for corporations such as Time Inc.- Book of the Month Club, Doubleday, Bertelsmann Direct, Columbia House and Direct Brands, handling progressive responsibilities from production-studio management and design to art direction and web. Experiences involved conceptualizing and following through on winning design concepts for print and web initiatives, while working directly with Creative Directors, Editorial, Copywriters, Marketing and Production. James Bedoya/ Web and Apps Developer, Multimedia Manager
James Bedoya attained significant levels of success in his 30 years at Dow Jones, Inc., doing interactive data, multimedia design, and web development and management. In 1994 James was responsible for designing, developing and managing the first public marketing website and the first intranet for DowJones Telerate. James also managed various external Dow Jones websites, online video and audio, 3D graphics for online and video projects. James was also responsible for developing and managing Dow Jones’ phone/mobile GUI, multimedia design.
He is currently Web Media Consultant at Associated Press, where he develops and creates email marketing templates for various AP units to be sent through the SilverPop email management system. He also creates web landing pages with responsive design for viewing on mobile devices.
Paul Benenati/ Marketing Consultant, International Marketing
Paul Benenti has more than 30 years of marketing management experience working with and for some of the world’s most recognizable companies and advertisers. His background includes 11 years at Dow Jones, the then-parent company of The Wall Street Journal. During his tenure at Dow Jones International Marketing Services, advertising revenue increased from $35 million to $115 million in four years. He handled multimillion-dollar budgets for online and offline media planning and initiatives for the global Wall Street Journal brands and for the Dow Jones Enterprise Media Group.
Most recently, Paul played a major role in revamping the marketing tactics and operations at the Associated Press across the U.S. and Latin America. This included the rebranding of AP (both internally and externally), a complete rebuild of the ap.org web site and the launching of new email, marketing collateral, video, event and webcast campaigns.
His specialties include tactical planning and management for print and internet; copywriting, producing and directing TV and radio commercials; PowerPoint and Keynote presentations; webinar and event management; database and website creation and management, and SEO and SEM.
Lisa Cibrario/ Copy Specialist
Elisa Cibrario, former Copy Director for Book-of-the-Month Club (a division of Time Inc.), has extensive experience concepting and crafting copy for a wide variety of clients and marketing channels, including websites and direct-response television.
Elisa managed both art and copy departments, including proofreaders, in her more than 30 years at BOMC, and worked with outside vendors (photographers, video production houses, stylists, modeling agencies) on projects involving photography and video.
Elisa has a network of freelance clients, ranging from a prominent mortgage company to the leading “As Seen on TV” marketer. She has a unique gift for assessing the appropriate copy tone and speaking to customers in a way that invites positive response.
